The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality functions. These include, but are not limited to the following areas:

Quality Assurance in Wood Milling and Finishing

• • Meet quality targets and ensure that product meets company specifications as well establish SOPs to ensure smooth quality management flow.
  • Manage the QA practice to ensure that all QA standards, deliverables and services are executed on schedule and meet enterprise defined quality standards
  • Manage QA auditing, verification, metrics, execution; ensure compliance to standards and processes are at meeting specifications 
  • Establish quality training programs for all factory workers, increasing their knowledge of good/no good products and the correct method for rework.
  • Thoroughly understand the capacities of all machines and how to maintain long operating life.
  • Ensure data and reports are accurately managed (incoming, in process, outgoing and final inspection reports; rejection rates, dppm, FIC, etc.) 
  • Improve the quality management system for quicker detection of defects and quicker corrective action follow up
  • Conduct required testing on product sampled from the factory line.

Sample and Specification Management

• • Manage samples used on the shop floor for production reference, ensuring that samples are always clean and meet quality specifications. Referenced by the specification document and master sample signed by the customer. 
  • Manage original master samples signed by customers, ensuring that samples are always clean and meet quality specifications. 
  • Manage samples, which are prepared for customer review, ensuring that samples are always clean and meet quality specifications. With correct labeling and product information.  
  • Manage retainer samples, ensuring that products are properly labeled with all necessary information.  
  • Update product specifications for all customers, preparing necessary documents required to train workers with new information.
  • Manage, govern, and mature Quality strategy and testing services of all products

Productivity and New Process/Product Development

• • Ensure specifications are clearly defined and documented prior to mass production. 
  • Cooperate with R&D to ensure all required testing is complete and passed, prior to mass production.

Effective Worker Management

• • Increase worker productivity
  • Introduce incentive programs for increased output
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and prepared for each position 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Quality Management 
• Minimum 7 years experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment; with at least 5 years of Quality management experience, with emphasis on the following
  • Experience managing personnel of 50 people or more 

• • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen and 5S 
  • Strong competence in calculations and problem solving for bottom line growth 
  • Strong logical and leadership mindset, care for the team above self. Proven track record of training and developing skills of a young team

• Highly organized and self-motivated person demonstrating drive and resourcefulness. Result orientated with strong follow-up skills. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully. Accountable, enthusiastic, honest and ability to both work independently and in a team 
• Highly Customer focused, with strong attention to detail and desire to delivery first class quality

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Sites include Binh Duong and District 1, 2, and 3). Travel to project sites throughout Vietnam is required.
